Rat-Man Infinite Collection | Rat-Man

Created in 1989 by the pencil of Leo Ortolani, Rat-Man is currently the best-selling superhero comic book in Italy from Panini Comics, and since 2006, it is also a 52-episode cartoon series produced by Stranemani and RAI Fiction and broadcast on RAI 2.

Made with state-of-the-art 3D methods, this is the first authentic statue of Leo Ortolani’s famous character, capturing our hero in the classic comic book superhero stance: on the ledge of a skyscraper, overlooking the city.

Any resemblance is purely coincidental...

Rat-Man, a hero conceived by the pencil of Leo Ortolani, vanquishes crime in his city. A superhero rat, Rat-Man is a parody of the famous characters of Marvel’s comics. The name itself is reminiscent of Batman, who shares a few similarities with Ortolani’s character, but also many differences: he moves by night and has no superpowers, but unlike Bruce Wayne, he hasn’t got a dime to spend on high-tech armour or any martial arts skills. Nonetheless, he firmly believes in what he does, and, with a great deal of awkwardness and poor results, he weaves his way through the city, facing off against the criminal underworld and bringing peace to the people.
